The winery is located in the municipality of Münchweier (Breisgau area) in the German wine-growing region of Baden. It was founded in 2007 by Sven Enderle and Florian Moll, who met during their winegrowing apprenticeship at the Kaiserstuhl. The vineyards cover over two hectares of vines in the single vineyard Kirchberg (Münchweier). They are mainly planted with Pinot Noir, as well as the white wine varieties Pinot Gris, Müller-Thurgau and Auxerrois. Most of the Pinot Noir is grown on very old vines. The vineyards are partly cultivated according to the rules of biodynamic viticulture.

According to the objective of the two, wines should be produced that are as direct and unadulterated an expression as possible of the respective site with its different climatic conditions and its terroir. For this reason, vinification is carried out without any pumping, fining or filtration. The wine is matured for 12 to 15 months in used barriques. The Pinot Noir red wines are produced in three quality levels: "Basis" (from younger vineyards, various sites and soils), "Liaison" (older vineyards, various sites and soils) and "Lagenweine" (Muschelkalk, Buntsandstein, Ida). Depending on the vintage, secco (sparkling wine), bottle-fermented sparkling wine (Pinot Gris, Müller-Thurgau) and marc brandy are also produced.
