2014 Liaison, Germany

Cool nose, light vegetal notes, hint of bacon, red berries, some ntty old oak, hint of tobacco, whiff of pulses, some lychee, light mineral notes in the background. Cool, polished, elegant, juicy fruit on the palate, nutty and vegetal aromas, salty and floral traces, some bite, fairly persistent, very fine tannins, chalky earthy notes, hint of tobacco, touch of plums, still young, not particularly deep, good to very good, but slightly astringent finish.
