2015 Grauburgunder Landwein, Germany

Murky orange colour. Light yeasty notes and bread on the nose, some nutty notes, mandarines, light pomaceous and stone fruit, some root vegetables, hint of tobacco. Ripe, firm, tart, juicy fruit on the palate, lively acidity, fairly prominent tannins, still slightly astringent, prominent yellow spice, slightly spicy curuma, good substance and persistence, firm grip mineral notes in the background, hint of sugar candy, touch of tobacco, creamy, clear contours, tannins still very slightly rough on a very good juicy finish.
