2016 Pinot Noir Landwein "Muschelkalk", Germany

Slightly nutty and dried floral aroma of ripe, predominantly red berries with some herbs and hints of dark ethereal spice. Ripe, firm, juicy fruit with smoky and nutty barrel tones, some pepper, fine vegetal flavours and ethereal notes again slightly reminiscent of pepper and juniper, persistent on the palate, has power with low alcohol, salt and a little chalk in the background, certain depth, a hint of peanut, very good, firm, juicy and spicy finish. Perfect to drink now.
