The estate is located in the municipality of Trittenheim (Bernkastel area) in the German wine-growing region Moselle
, It has been managed by Ernst Clüsserath since 1991. The vineyards cover just over three hectares of vineyards in the individual Trittenheim vineyards Altärchen
, They are planted almost exclusively with Riesling (3.1 ha), as well as small amounts of Kerner and Müller-Thurgau. In the vineyards there is a consistent, natural management with fertilization on an exclusively organic basis, as well as a complete waiver herbicides
, The musts are fermented as spontaneously as possible at constant temperatures between 16 and 18 degrees Celsius, and half are aged in classic wooden barrels and half in stainless steel tanks. Around 25,000 bottles of wine are produced annually. Eighty percent of this goes directly to end users, the rest is exported to the United States.
