The winery is located in the Freistadt Rust in the Burgenland (Austria). The traditional family has been based here for 300 years. In 1971 the company was taken over by Ernst Triebaumer, who is considered one of the "fathers" of the much-cited "Austrian red wine miracle". The sons Herbert and Gerhard Triebaumer have been running the business since the 2001 vintage. The company motto is: "The commitment to slowness should express our respect for nature" . The vineyards cover 20 hectares of vineyards in the vineyards Gmärk. Mariental, Mitterkraft, Upper Forest, Pandkräftn, Lower forest and Vogelsang, Most of them are inclined towards the lake and benefit in the morning from the sun rising on the opposite bank and the rays reflected from the lake. Calcareous to calcareous soils can be found in the northern part. The southern part is formed by crystalline weathering soils (mica schist, gneiss, quartz) with some clay.

They are planted 75% with the red varieties Blaufränkisch (with 50-year-old vines), Cabernet Sauvignon, St. Laurent and Merlot, and 25% with the white varieties Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Welschriesling, Gelber Muskateller and Traminer. Environmentally friendly viticulture is practiced. Artificial irrigation, as well as the use of artificial fertilizers, herbicides and insecticides is waived. Through species-rich greening and spreading of shredded straw or reeds humus budget positively influenced. To combat the becomes the most environmentally friendly disrupter applied. Another criterion for the highest quality is physiologically mature Grapes. The grapes are harvested manually, with the grapes being selected in up to three fractions on the vine.

The flagship of the house is the "Blaufränkisch Mariental", which only exists in special years (not in 1995, 1996, 1998). It is mainly aged in new wood in 300 liter barrels. Starting with the 2000 vintage, the barrel storage was extended to 22 to 23 months. Other premium wines are "Blaufränkisch Gmärk", "Blaufränkisch Oberer Wald", "Chardonnay Pandkräftn" and "Sauvignon Blanc Vogelsang". The cuvée “Tridendron” (Merlot, Blaufränkisch , Cabernet Sauvignon) has been available since the 2003 vintage. The original name (tri-tree) is the family name in ancient Greek. In weather-appropriate years, sweet wines such as selection, berry selection, Rust outbreak and Eiswein generated. Since the 2009 vintage, sulfur-free wines from vines up to 60 years old have been produced under the “Urwerk” series. Around 100,000 bottles of wine are produced annually. Around half of the production is done with the locking system Vinolok bottled, The winery is a member of the associations Cercle Ruster outbreak and Renowned wineries Burgenland,
