The winery is located in the Free City Rust in the Burgenland (Austria). The traditional family has been here for 300 years. In 1971, the company was taken over by Ernst Triebaumer, who is considered one of the "fathers" of the oft-cited "Austrian red wine miracle". Since the year 2001 the company is run by the sons Herbert and Gerhard Triebaumer. The operating motto is: "Commitment to slowness should express our respect for nature." The vineyards cover 20 hectares of vineyards in the vineyards Gmärk. Mariental, Mitterkräftn, Upper Forest, Pandkräftn, Lower Forest and Vogelsang, These are mostly inclined to the lake and profit in the morning from the sun rising on the opposite bank and the rays reflected from the lake. The northern part contains calcareous to calcareous soils. The southern part is formed by crystalline weathered soils (mica schist, gneiss, quartz) with some clay.

They are planted to 75% with the red varieties Blaufränkisch (with 50-year-old vines), Cabernet Sauvignon, St. Laurent and Merlot, and to 25% with the white varieties Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Welschriesling, Yellow Muscatel and Traminer. It is practiced environmentally friendly viticulture. On artificial irrigation, as well as the use of artificial fertilizer, herbicides and insecticides is waived. Through species-rich greening and application of rotted straw or reed becomes the humus budget positively influenced. To combat the will be the most environmentally friendly disrupter applied. Another criterion for the highest quality is physiologically mature Grapes. The harvest is done by hand, whereby the grapes are already selected on the stick in up to three fractions.

The flagship of the house is the "Blaufränkisch Mariental", which exists only in special years (not 1995, 1996, 1998). It is mainly aged in new wood in 300-liter barrels. Beginning with the year 2000, cask storage was extended to 22 to 23 months. Other premium wines are "Blaufränkisch Gmärk", "Blaufränkisch Upper Forest", "Chardonnay Pandkräftn" and "Sauvignon Blanc Vogelsang". Since the year 2003 there is the cuvée "Tridendron" (Merlot, Blaufränkisch , Cabernet Sauvignon). The original name (tri-tree) is the surname in ancient Greek. In weather-appropriate years are also sweet wines such as Auslese, Beerenauslese, Ruster outbreak and Eiswein generated. Since the year 2009, under the series "Urwerk" sulfur-free wines from up to 60-year-old vines are produced. Every year around 100,000 bottles of wine are produced. About half of the production is using the shutter system Vinolok bottled, The winery is a member of the associations Cercle Ruster outbreak and Renowned wineries Burgenland,
