The estate is located in the village Obermarkersdorf in the Lower Austrian wine region
Weinviertel, The family has been running viticulture and wine trade since 1848. The operation was taken over in 2000 after six months of practice in Pomerol (Bordeaux) by Gerald Diem and his wife Andrea in the fifth generation of the family. The vineyards cover 18 hectares of vineyards in the vineyards Breiten, Satz, Sündlasberg, Nussberg and Triftberg. They are planted to 80% with the white varieties Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Muscat and Sauvignon Blanc, and to 20% with the red varieties Zweigelt, St. Laurent and Roesler. It is consistently close to nature, environmentally friendly viticulture according to the guidelines of
KIP (Controlled Integrated Production). The wines are developed with gentle vinification area and variety typical. The premium wines include, for example, Chardonnay Triftberg, (Grüner Veltliner) and the red wine cuvée Carpe (Zweigelt, St. Laurent, Rösler).
