2005 Wagram Ried Hohenberg Grüner Veltliner trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Pears and honeydew melon on the nose, cool mineral, peppery and and herbaceous notes, delicate vegetal notes. Quite juicy, fruit not completely dry, fairly moderate acidity, light tannic touch, herbaceous and some mineral notes, initially becomes quite broad on the palate, but gains contours with aeration, slightly rough tannins on an otherwise attractive finish.
