2016 Weißburgunder trocken Reserve, Pfalz, Germany

Light nutty notes on the nose, partly preserved yellow fruit, restrained vegetal notes, delicate hint of yellow spice. Ripe, fairly juicy fruit on the palate, very creamy, tart oak, earthy and vegetal aromas, floral notes and a hint of tobacco, slightly sweetish, earthy notes, hint of mushrooms in the background, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, hint of red berries, light touch of coarse tannins, good to very good warm, sweetish, oaky finish.
