2015 Wagram Roter Veltliner trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Spicy, yeasty and floral, slightly muted aroma with restrained notes of crumbly stone fruit, some blood oranges and peaches as well as nutty and cool earthy hints. Not completely dry, slightly melting fruit in the mouth, vegetal, salty and yeasty tones, lively acidity, dried mountain meadow flowers, some melting, cool earthy notes again, bitter almond in the background, decent to good, just also somewhat muted finish with bite
