2015 Nordheim Vögelein Pinot Noir trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Light earthy and dried vegetal notes on the nose, red and black berries, floral traces, hint of bacon. Ripe, warm, jammy fruit on the palate, spicy oak, hint of chocolate, touch of dried citrus fruit, fairly persistent, slightly sandy, astringent tannins, very creamy with noticeable warm alcohol, sweetish and creamy, chocolate notes on a slightly jammy finish.
