2018 Sommerach Katzenkopf Traminer Spätlese, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Somewhat muted, warm, vegetal nose with yellow fruity, earthy and slightly nutty tones. Sweet, somewhat spicy fruit with dried floral aromas, fine, quite lively acidity, some grip, a touch of dark berries on the palate, notes of candy, some minerality, good persistence, high but integrated alcohol, a hint of honey, very good, warm finish with sweet, partly candied juice and yellow spice
