2013 Pinot Noir trocken Herrenwingert, Pfalz, Germany

Firm nose, ripe, partly preserved mixed berries and cherries, whiff of pomegranate, very elegant spicy and herbaceous notes. Fairly trat on the palate, still muted, dark, ripe fruit, spicy oak and some cocoa, fairly prominent tannins, still has some yeasty notes, persistent and concentrated, full-bodied, still undeveloped, spicy notes, herbs and salty notes in the background, hint of dried flowers, herbs and spices on a very good, long, firm, crisp ripe, tart, juicy finish.
