2013 Schweigen Sonnenberg Pinot Noir trocken Heydenreich, Monopol, Pfalz, Germany

Firm, deep, cool nose, smoky and light earthy notes, dried vegetal notes, nutty oak, predominantly red berries and cherries, dried herbs, light peppery and mineral notes, whiff of dark berries and dried mushrooms. Very firm again on the palate, light oak, still slightly muted, but also has firm, fairly juicy fruit, dried hebrs, touch of cola nut, dried mushrooms and parsley, earthy notes in the background, very good substance and persistence, light smoky oak, prominent salty notes, hint of coffee, still largely undeveloped, very good firm, deep finish, currently still very slightly astringent.
