2014 Rechtenbach Pinot Noir VDP.Ortswein trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Somewhat developed, firm, rather tart aroma of ripe black and red berries with a little mushroom, bacony nuances, a little dried flowers and earthy tones. Ripe, firm, quite dense fruit, some smoky wood, dried meaty nuances, present, fine sandy tannins, quite lively acidity, good persistence, has power and some depth, a hint of malt, peppery traces, certain minerality, very slightly drying, but also has juice and tension, sooty and tobacco nuances in the background, very good, firm, quite juicy finish with a little bitterish wood spice and quite clear minerality.
