2015 Schweigen Steinwingert Pinot Noir trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Clear, firm, deep nose, predominantly red berries and cherries, partly dried floral traces, spicy traces, hint of mint, peppery notes, hint of tobacco, mineral notes, hint of bacon. Firm, tart, juicy, surprisingly cool fruit on the palate, still rather closed, tart, lightlöy toasted, spicy oak, hint of tobacco and cedary traces, firm, youthful, fairly fine tannins, still veryslightly astringent, good substance and persistence, currently just provides a small peak at its depth, prominent tart mineral notes, hint of coffee, peppery notes, light smoky notes and tobacco on a very good, firm, tart, juicy finish. Needs time to mature.
