2012 Pinot Noir trocken Quercus Superuis, Rheingau, Germany

Fairly mature nose, hint of iodine and some tomato essence, predominantly red berries, nutty oak, hint of tobacco and mushrooms, drie herbs, pepper and earthy notes. Warm, fairly tranquil red fruit on the palate, light smoky oak, earthy notes, dried herbs and some more tomato essence, light nutty notes, delicate hint of cocoa and some tobacco, traces of ashes, full-bodied, noticeable warm alcohol, integrated sandy tannins, peppery traces, delicate bitter touch, light mineral notes in the background, malted traces, very good finish with minty notes.
