2017 Winkel Jesuitengarten Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Rheingau, Germany

Tart nose, tranquuil but also fresh, prominent vegetal notes, nutty and yeasty notes, light floral aromas, peppery traces, waxy notes, prominent earthy and mineral notes. Ripe, fairly juicy, sweetish fruit on the palate, prominent yellow spice, waxy traces, white pepper and herbs, touch of root vegetables in the background, hint of bacon, proimnent salty notes, firm structure, still very young, some depth, hint of mushrooms and forest berries on a very good, firm, sweetish finish with noticeable salty notes.
