The "Wein- und Sektgut Braun" is located in the municipality of Meckenheim (area Mittelhaardt-German Wine Route) in the German wine-growing region palatinate, The family has been growing grapes for 200 years. The estate was created in the 1970s by marriage and consequent merger, where it was curious in both farms gave a Fritz Braun. Fritz Braun has meanwhile transferred the day-to-day management to his two sons. For the cellar, Michael Braun (certified viticulture technician), responsible for Marketing & Sales Martin Braun (Diplom-Weinbetriebswirt) supported by cellar master Kristoffer Graß, is responsible for the outdoor operation Franz Käferböck.

The vineyards cover 40 hectares of vineyards in the individual layers Neuberg and Spielberg (Meckenheim), Bubeneck and Kirchenstück (Ellerstadt), as well as Haßloch (Leisböhl). The varieties include the white varieties Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris and Chardonnay, as well as the red varieties Pinot Noir, Dornfelder, Portuguese, St. Laurent and Cabernet Sauvignon. In addition, other varieties are cultivated in smaller quantities. The management and care of the vines in the soil care and pest control takes place with environmentally friendly measures.

Selective harvesting processes only ripe and healthy grapes. In the winemaking one orients itself on the principle "less is more", in order to emphasize variety typicality and origin of the wines. The emotional connection with the product wine clarifies on the website of the company the saying "Rain makes the grass grow, wine the conversation". Depending on the type of wine, the wines are aged in steel tanks, large oak barrels or barriques. There will also be bottle-fermented sect, Secco (sparkling wines), Eiswein, Grape juices and wine jelly generated. Every year around 300,000 bottles of wine are produced, which are sold in specialist shops, upscale restaurants and private customers. The winery is a member of Generation Riesling and Wine Changes.
