2015 Achkarren Schlossberg Grauburgunder trocken, Baden, Germany

Firm, tart, somewhat smoky and woody-spicy fragrance with yellow fruity and slightly floral aromas, a touch of tobacco, herbs and mineral notes. Ripe, melty, slightly bacony fruit with nutty and smoky woody notes, planty tones and chalky-salty minerality, lots of power and substance, peppery nuances, clear, crumbly tannins, also still yeasty tones, very good, firm, juicy, melty and again smoky woody finish with chalky minerality.
