2015 Staufen Schlossberg Weißburgunder trocken, Baden, Germany

Rather firm, nutty, somewhat tobacco and slightly smoky fragrance with fine yellow fruity aromas, a hint of mushrooms, light wood, a little herbs and mineral notes. Ripe, warm, melty fruit, slightly smoky and a touch of bacon with nut nougat tones and also a little nut butter, spicy nuances on the palate, lots of power and substance, soft contours, moderate acidity and mellow tannins, persistent on the palate, becomes firmer with air, hinted mushrooms, very good, warm, melty finish with spicy and mineral tones.
