2017 Untersteinbach Blauer Portugieser VDP.Ortswein trocken, Württemberg, Germany

Tart nose, red and a few black berries, dried vegetal notes, hint of tobacco, peppery and mineral traces. Clear, polished, slightly nutty fruit on the palate, tart and juicy, peppery traces, hint of tobacco, very fine tannins, light acid bite, good persistence, salty mineral notes in the background, good to very good, tart finish. Still needssome time to mature.
