The Princely House has been associated with viticulture for almost four centuries. The possessions include vineyards in the German growing areas Franconia and Rheingau. Until the year 2008 was also the Satzberg cultivated in the Baden region (Taubertal). In 2010, a fundamental redesign and alignment of the winery. There was a move from Kreuzwertheim in the castle park of Kleinheubach, where in the immediate vicinity also the castle and ancestral home of the family. The wine cellar was established in the former Marstall, a baroque sandstone building from the 17th century, equipped with contemporary technology. Since 1996, the vinification of the two growing areas in Franconia, since 2010 now just at the new location Kleinheubach. In 2015, a new wine store was put into operation directly at Weingut Im Schlosspark 3. There are memberships in the associations Silvaner Forum and TRIAS wineries, as well as for both growing areas in the VDP,

The vineyards in Franconia cover 13 hectares of vineyards in the individual layers Kallmuth (Homburg) and Oberrot (Lengfurt). They are planted with the white varieties Silvaner (two-thirds), Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc, and with the red varieties Zeigelt and Pinot Noir. The already since 1736 existing winery in the community Oestrich-Winkel im Rheingau was acquired in 1875 by the Princely House. It was on until 1997 Schloss Vollrads leased since then, the leadership was again on its own. The vineyards cover 20 hectares of vineyards in the individual layers maid. Hendelberg and Schönhell (Hallgarten), of which 7.5 hectares are produced on their own. They are planted with the two varieties Riesling (80%) and Pinot Noir (20%).
