2007 Rüdesheim Berg Rottland Riesling Erstes Gewächs, Rheingau, Germany

Somewhat developed aroma of pome and stone fruits and citrus fruits with hints of wax, herbs and floral nuances. Ripe, juicy, sweetish fruit, fine acidity, hints of yellow spice, a touch of wax, herbs and floral nuances, some grip, good persistence, quite clear minerality, floral nuances, again also wax, good to very good, quite firm, relatively sweet finish. Clearly better than in its youth; should nevertheless be drunk out now.
