Cool nose, tart black berries, light smoky and roasted oak. Prominent oak on the palate, roasted and some sooty notes, fairly prominent sandy, astringent tannins, tart, full-bodied but also closed, not yet particularly deep, good persistence, elegant acid bite, very good finish. Rather dominated by oak, but definitely has potnetial.

Best to drink: 2010-2016. What our ratings mean
