Editor note: Fairly open nose, prominent roasted and smoky notes, black and some red berries, grilled bell peppers, some malted notes, burnt cereals, tart mineral notes in the background. Quite austere on the palate, dark fruit, smoky and bitter roasted spicy oak, slightly rough sandy, astringent tannins, light acid bite, very full-bodied, prominent cool salty mineral notes, intense herbaceous notes, loads of thyme, very persistent, good depth, slightly rustic style, slightly rough again on a very good finish. Definitely needs time to mature.
