Editor note: Light dried vegetal and earthy notes on the nose, predominantly black berries, dried floral notes, whiff of licorice, meaty traces. Tart dark fruit on the palate, fairly prominent oak with chocolate notes, partly preserved fruit, fairly prominent fine tannins, full body, good persistence, noticeable warm alcohol, dried floral notes, hint of plums and some citrus zests, very good finish.
Best to drink: To 2020+

Editor note: Slightly sweetish nose, preserved red berries and cherries, some black berries, herbaceous notes, some coconut and vanilla, hint of blood orange, mineral traces. Quite juicy on the palate, but also has prominent oak, lots of chocolate, popcorn, coconut and vanilla, slightly astringent tannins, persistent, full-bodied, and has substance, some depth, mineral notes in the background, herbaceous notes, very good finish. Outstanding grape material has not yet quite come together with what is an extremely modern style.
