2009 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Blauburgunder, Alto Adige, Italy

Red berries and some black berries on the nose, smoky notes and some bacon, old oak, undergrowth and a hint of mushrooms. More old oak on the palate, hint of mushrooms and some medicinal herbs, medium-fine tannins, partly dried fruit, cheesy traces, slightly persistent, fairly prominent mineral notes, more smoked bacon on a good finish.

Best to drink: 2012 bis 2015+. What our ratings mean
