The winery "Gebrüder Nittnaus" is in the municipality Gols (Untere Hauptstraße 105) in the Burgenland wine-growing region Lake Neusiedl (Austria) on the eastern shore of the lake. The family was first mentioned in 1683 as the owner of a vineyard, so they have been wine-growing for over 300 years. The business was taken over by Hans and Christine Nittnaus in 1986. Today he is managed by his two sons Andreas and Hans Michael Nittnaus. The hallmark of the house is a geometrically stylized grape. Over time, the parent company became four locations with three traditional sandstone cellars.

The vineyards cover 57 hectares of vineyards in the Edelgrund vineyards, Gabarinza. Goldberg, Kurzberg, Luckenwald, Neuberg. Salzberg and Ungerberg which are spread over around 70 parcels. Reserve category white wines are partly aged in barriques or 500-liter barrels. The red wines mature after temperature-controlled maceration and biological acid degradation in stainless steel tanks or in at least 12 months , The premium wines include the red wine blend Salzberg (Merlot / Blaufränkisch), Zweigelt Luckenwald Reserve and Blaufränkisch Altenberg Reserve.
