1999 Rüdesheim Berg Schlossberg Riesling Auslese Goldkapsel, Rheingau, Germany

Still completely closed, youthful aromas of herbs, citrus fruits, minerals and white peach. Intense fruit with mineral notes, almost smoky, crisp acidity, noble and well integrated sweetness, very concentrated, waxy aromas and just a hint of bitterness on the palate, persistent, very long finish. Currently very difficult to judge. Needs time.
