1999 Rüdesheim Berg Schlossberg Riesling Trockenbeerenauslese, Rheingau, Germany

Intense, dense nose that appears very closed. Minerals, tobacco, citrus fruits and wax. Concentrated, firm fruit, very sweet, elegant acidity in the background, intense spicy caramel and tobacco notes on the palate, an oily texture, very persistent on the palate, very compact and resting within itself, will take years to show its true potential, excellent balance, very long finish. Conservative rating.
