2000 Rüdesheim Bischofsberg Riesling Auslese, Rheingau, Germany

On the nose, initially wax and herbs, then aromas of green apples and white peaches open up. Dense, creamy-sweet fruit, very elegant acidity, persistent fruit on the palate, spice reminiscent of caramel and dark chocolate in the background, very harmonious and most enjoyable to drink, good length.
