2015 Rüdesheim Berg Rottland Riesling, Rheingau, Germany

Firm, fairly deep nose, light vegetal and herbaceous notes, floral touch, citrus, stone and pomaceous fruit, hint of dark berries, prominent mineral notes. Clear, polished, elegant, juicy fruit on the palate, slightly sweetish, lively acidity, yeasty, herbaceous and floral aromas, hint of dark berries in the background, persistent, firm and grippy, still undeveloped, has some depth, light hint of bacon, but appears to consist almost entirely of stone and salt, more signs of yellow fruit come through after several days of aeration, firm bite on a very good firm, cool, juicy finish.
