2017 Rauenthal Nonnenberg Riesling Monopol, Rheingau, Germany

Firm nose, still slightly muted, nutty and yeasty notes, whiff of bread, vegetal notes, restrained yellow fruit, fairly light mineral notes in the background. Clear, polished, elegant, juicy fruit on the palate, fairly cool style, very elegant, lively acidity, fresh vegetal, herbaceous and delicate floral traces, firm and persistent, good depth, prominent salty notes, quite elegant, but also compelling, very good, firm finish.
