2017 Rüdesheim Berg Rottland Riesling, Rheingau, Germany

Firm, fairly deep nose, nutty, yeasty and mineral notes, touch of yellow spice, ripe, partly candied yellow fruit, hint of tobacco. Firm, tart, juicy, fairly cool yellow fruit on the palate, lively acidity, ripe tannins provide firm grip, floral traces, hint of dark berries, intense salty mineral notes, persistent and firm, good depth, hint of bacon, still young, clear contours, delicate oily traces, excellent balance, light-bodied but also concentrated, very good long finish.
