2010 Forst Pechstein Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Pfalz, Germany

At first tart and a little muted, herbal and earthy to mineral, then increasingly sweetish yellow fruity nose with candy notes and a little nutty tones. Relatively bright, quite juicy, sweetish fruit with lively acidity, vegetal notes on the palate, a little lemony and slightly green in the background, light tannin, tart minerality in the background, delicate bitter, candy tones, earthy notes, distinct minerality, gains noticeably more acid bite with air, very good, tight finish with sweetish sour juice, minerality and vegetal notes
