2017 Pinot Noir trocken "Hommage à George", Rheingau, Germany

A firm, slightly dried, planty, woody and earthy bouquet of ripe red and slightly black berries with cherry notes, floral notes and a hint of foliage. Clear, tangy-juicy, again firm fruit, dried vegetable, delicately smoky and woody tones, clearly salty on the palate, persistent, fine, still youthful and thus a trace of drying tannin, certain depth, has power, good persistence, toasty notes, in the background dry herbs, very good, firm finish with tart, warm juice, a trace of malt and relatively complex spice
