2017 Forst Ungeheuer Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Firm nose, light nutty notes, partly dried vegetal and earthy notes, yellow fruit, hint of rubber and petrol, touch of yellow spice, earthy and mineral notes. Ripe, juicy, partly candied fruit on the palate, yellow spice, herbaceous notes, yeasty and peppery traces, elegant acidity, integrated tannins provide some grip, good persistence, some suhar candy in the background, hint of bacon, salty traces, some depth, quite full-bodied, more yellow spice and mineral notes on a very good, juicy, slightly sweetish finish.
