2015 Ried Schatzberg Grauburgunder trocken GE.ORG, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Slightly muted nose, prominent vegetal notes, light cedary touch, hint of tobacco, pomaceous fruit, pistachioes and bitter almond, vanilla oak, root vegetables. Dry fruit on the palate, prominent yeasty notes, light oak, salty, smoky, light peppery and toasted aromas, fairly prominent notes of popcorn, toasted and delicate waxy notes, earthy and prominent salty notes, hint of honey, remains tart, very high alcohol, but surprisingly well integrated, touch of egg white, very creamy and warm, good persistence, hint of caramel, very good finish.
