The estate is located in the municipality of Wielitsch near Ehrenhausen in the wine-growing region südsteiermark (Austria). The origin is in 1777. In 1968 the neighboring Georgi-Schlössl was acquired, from which the current name is derived. In the 1970s, red wine grapes were grown from the nursery Ferruccio Lamborghini (Cabernet Sauvignon) and imported from France (Merlot, Pinot Noir).
