2017 Großwallstadt Silvaner Ortswein trocken Alte Reben, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Veryslightly hazy straw yellow colour. Firm, tart, fairly cool and fresh nose, light yellow fruit, floral and herbaceous traces, touch of yellow spice, prominent mineral notes. Ripe, tart, slightly creamy fruit, prominent yeasty notes, light tannic touch, moderate acidity, fairly persistent, hint of bacon, earthy traces, veryslightly muted, hint of mushrooms, smoky traces in the background, earthy and mineral notes, good to very good finish.
