The estate is located in the municipality Langenlonsheim in the German wine-growing region Near, The company, previously run by Helga and Helmut Binzel, was handed over to son Andreas in 2005. This one had viticulture and oenology in Geisenheim Studied and gained practical experience in the wineries Simi Winery (Alexander Valley, California), Bergkelder (South Africa) and Babich (New Zealand). The vineyards cover 5.5 hectares of vineyards in the individual layers King sign. Löhrer mountain. Rothenberg and stones (Langenlonsheim), as well as Hippe Rich and Rose Pond (Guldental). They are over 90% with the white wine varieties Riesling, Pinot Gris ( Pinot Gris ), Pinot Blanc ( Pinot Blanc ) Sylvaner. Müller-Thurgau. Kerner. Scheurebe and Huxelrebe, the rest with the red varieties Pinot Noir ( Pinot Noir ) and Dornfelder planted.

Great importance is attributed to old vines, which are intensively cultivated. Through selective hand-picking only healthy and optimally mature grapes are processed. After some gentle Whole bunch pressing the two- to three-month slow ones take place fermentation with pure culture yeasts and also the expansion to the majority in the big wooden barrel (1,200 to 2,500 l) from German oak. The wine is moved and treated in the cellar as little as possible and fresh with much more natural carbonic acid bottled. Something new every year, such as late harvesting in November, different maceration periods, press group separation, different yeasts and lifetimes on the tried out.
