2016 Schozach Roter Berg Spätburgunder Grosses Gewächs trocken, Württemberg, Germany

Tart nose, earthy notes, light dried vegetal notes, hint of mushrooms, partly preserved red berries with a hint of plums, herbaceous notes, undergrowth, tobacco and mushrooms, hint of eucalyptus. Ripe, partly preserved fruit on the palate, toasted oak and some tobacco, spicy notes, light smoky notes, hint of mushrooms, good substance and persistence, light sooty and spicy notes, medium body, slightly noticeable watm alcohol, salty traces in the background, exotic spices, more spicy oak on a very good, ripe, juicy finish.
