2015 Spätburgunder trocken Schatz vom Vulkan, Baden, Germany

Light spicy notes on the nose, hint of tobacco, predominantly red berries, nutty and delicate herbaceous notes, mineral traces. Ripe, tart, juicy fruit on the palate, light nutty, smoky, toasted oak, fine sandy tannins, light acid bite, spicy notes and some tobacco, slightly salty mineral notes in the background, full-bodied, noticeable warm alcohol, good persistence, touch of cocoa, warm alcohol, oak and partly preserved fruit on a good to very good finish.
