1999 Süd-Steiermark Sauvignon Blanc trocken Steirische Klassik, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Mature nose with honeydew melon, apple sauce, some juniper and grass, delicately tart notes. Fairly cool style, noticeably mature, more delicately tart, slightly smoky notes and juniper, elegant acidity, mineral notes, medium body, quite persistent on the palate, some old oak, light acid bite, good finish. Slightly past its peak, but still in remarkably good condition.
