2002 Süd-Steiermark Ried Nussberg Sauvignon Blanc trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Mature and very spicy nose, dried herbs, predominantly coriander, nutty and spicy notes, tart and sweetish oak, ripe gooseberries, melon and some mature pear, with some spicy mineral notes. Mature again on the palate, but not old, full-bodied, very creamy fruit, lots of sweetish, tart, spicy oak, very elegant acidity, persistent, dried herbs in the background, some more mineral notes, has some depth, very good long finish.
