2003 Süd-Steiermark Sauvignon Blanc halbtrocken Privat, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Tart spicy notes on the nose, partly candied citrus fruit and herbs, light hint of melon, light oak. Firm, straightforward style, more prominent tart spice as well as slightly sweetish fruit on the palate, elegant acidity, very full-bodied and creamy, prominent nutty notes, persistent and has some depth, smoky notes in the background, firm and compact, tart, spicy and sweetish notes on a very long finish.
