2006 Süd-Steiermark Ried Rothüttl Grauburgunder trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Mature apples on the nose, melon, fairly prominent nutty notes, some sweetish spicy oak. Firm and juicy on the palate, more sweetish spicy oak, also very full-bodied with very elegant acidity, mineral notes in the background, light vegetal notes, still quite youthful, slightly astringent tannins, powerful and persistent, has some depth, good long finish.

Best to drink: Ende 2009 bis 2012+. What our ratings mean
