2013 Thermenregion trocken Daniel, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Clear nose, spicy oak, red and black berries and some cherries, hint of bacon and dried herbs, delicate floral traces, hint of pepper. Ripe juicy fruit on the palate, light smoky, toasted oak, delicate hint of tobacco, light nutty notes, very fine tannins, persistent, some more bacon, some depth, approachable style, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, very good juicy finish with spicy oak.

Editor note: Translate to English Fester, fleischiger und etwas getrocknet-kräuteriger Duft nach schwarzen und ein wenig roten Beeren mit Kirschnuancen, floralen Anklängen, einer Spur Lakritz und mineralischen Noten im Hintergrund. Klare, geschliffene, feinsaftige Frucht mit speckigen und rauchigen Noten, einer Spur Trockenkräuter sowie leicht schokoladigen und nussigen Holzaromen, eine Spur Paprika im Hintergrund, nachhaltig, hat Schliff und feinen Griff, ausgezeichnete Substanz, sehr guter bis langer, feinsaftiger und etwas holzwürziger Abgang. Sehr gekonnt.
