2016 Weinheim Weißburgunder trocken Leuchtkraft, Rheinhessen, Germany

Firm and tart on the nose, subdued yellow fruit and clearly vegetal aromas, a little yellow spice in the background, tobacco nuances and clear minerality. Quite dense and concentrated in the mouth, sweet and creamy fruit with yellow spice, tobacco, herbaceous and again clearly mineral notes, a hint of mustard seeds, persistent and quite strong on the palate, appropriate acidity, noticeable grip of ripe tannins, certain depth and some warmth, very good, firm and at the same time melty finish.
